Thank you for checking out my blog today! Today I am sharing my top EIGHT beauty products of 2016! I have been in love with these all year and use [almost] all of them on a daily basis.
1. Highlight and Blush Duo: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Splits and Mineral Blush
Why I love this: This duo is perfect because its two essential makeup products in one! The colors complement each other perfectly and the highlight stays on all day. The blush is very pigmented [found out the hard way haha] so a little bit goes a long way!
2. Brows: Too Faced Bulletproof Brows
Why I love this: I’m 100% a brow girl. I love my brows to be dark and bold. This clay formula keeps your brows in place all day, especially if you’re going for that messy brow look!
Why I love these: This Naked palette is actually my first one! Since I got it a few months ago, its all I use. Although it is called “smokey” you can achieve a very natural look as well. This is a palette that I pack for a weekend trip because it has all my essentials. The primer, again is a game changer. I always felt like eyeshadow never stayed on or creased on me, but since I added this “potion” to my regime, it has kept my eyeshadow perfect all day and night.
5. Foundation: Chanel Vitalumière Aqua
Why I love this: I’m not much of a foundation girl. I like my coverage to be light but definitely even me out. After applying this and blending it with my Tarte brush or my Beauty Blender I feel like it covers me so well without feeling heavy.
6. Setting Powder: Bareminerals Mineral Veil
Why I love this: Again, I’m not much of a foundation person. So when it comes to setting powders I need them to be light as can be. I use this over my Chanel Vitalumière Aqua or just to do a quick coverage when I’m running late.
7. Bronzer: Ciatè London Bronzer in Palm Island
Why I love this: This bronzer is matte so I like that it doesn’t make me too shimmery. I apply this after my finishing powder, but before my highlight. Subtle, but it looks great!
Why I love this: Matte lipstick is my biggest struggle. I have tried so many different brands and they all leave me too dry! No one wants a matte lipstick that leaves you looking chapped by the end of the day! This is the perfect matte but creamy lip. I’m sure you can all tell that this color has become my signature color for under $10!
I hope you have found some new products or got some gift ideas right before the holidays!
